This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference resource cannot retrieve a docket, move a setting, seal a case, take a payment, issue a certified record, or give legal advice. The official court or clerk must handle those matters.
Need an Official Docket or Record?
Use the court named on the notice to route a Grenada County request:
- Circuit or Chancery docket: use the PAMEC/MEC access route when available, or ask the relevant clerk about courthouse viewing.
- A hearing setting: confirm it with the clerk for the named court; a standing session schedule is not an individual setting.
- A certified copy: request it from the court custodian and identify the case, document, and copy type.
- A Justice Court matter: call the Justice Court Clerk rather than the Circuit Clerk.
- A municipal citation or case: contact Grenada Municipal Court. The City Clerk keeps administrative records, not automatically the court file.
For Circuit Court law and criminal records, contact Michele Redditt Garcia, Grenada County Circuit Clerk, 59 Green Street, Suite 8, Grenada, MS 38901, telephone 662-226-1941. Regular hours shown by the Fifth Circuit MEC Court Information page are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For Chancery matters, contact Johnny L. Hayward, Grenada County Chancery Clerk, 59 Green Street, Grenada, MS 38901, telephone 662-226-1821.
