Why We Built This Site
Mississippi court access becomes confusing when the court on a notice is not clear. Grenada Circuit Court uses the Fifth Circuit MEC location, while Grenada Chancery Court uses the Third Chancery MEC location. Justice Court and Grenada Municipal Court are separate custodians. Public Access to Mississippi Electronic Courts, or PAMEC, is the registration path for remote MEC access to the participating trial courts, but it is not a free, unified search box for every Grenada case. This resource brings those distinctions, clerk contacts, and request routes together.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: local routes for criminal docket searches and civil docket searches
- Court dates and settings: ways to read a notice and confirm a date through Court Dates
- Case lookups: the PAMEC/MEC and clerk paths described in Case Lookup
- Record requests: the distinction between a docket, filed paper, and certified copy in Court Record Search
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, with no connection to a Mississippi court, clerk, or state agency. Its limits are practical and important:
- It cannot obtain an official docket sheet or case file for a visitor.
- It cannot set, change, reschedule, or reset a hearing.
- It cannot seal, amend, or remove a court matter.
- It cannot issue a certified docket, order, judgment, or other court copy.
- It does not provide legal advice about an individual matter.
- It cannot guarantee that an office contact, fee, or setting has not changed.
Only the custodian court or clerk can issue an official or certified record. The Circuit Clerk, Chancery Clerk, Justice Court Clerk, and Municipal Court each handle records within their own jurisdiction.
Search Partners
Some pages carry a search widget provided by a third party. That provider operates its own service and controls its results, charges, and data practices. A referral fee may be earned when a visitor uses a partner service. The widget is not the official Grenada docket system, and official court information should be checked with the court that maintains it.
